We went to Armstrong Woods State Park on Christmas Day. What a wonderful place to enjoy nature and feel like there really are fairies and goblins about! Shelby and Penny both brought home “jewelry” in their tales – all decked out for Christmas! Don’t tell the park authorities that we removed these items from their natural environment, he he.
All Decorated for Christmas
While the park is a beautiful place, the 3/4 mile in and out was too hard on the PP. She was exhausted from the walk and had a very hard time getting up and around for her visit to our war heros the next day. Much better after a long nap and a little ‘purposeful petting’ (aka massage) on her front leg. Next time, we will need to impose the Lil Red Wagon so we can still enjoy God’s natural beauty.

Sounds like a wonderful Christmas day… But I can only see the picture of you and Shelby… while the other 3 aren’t showing up… just a red ‘x’. Too bad… I was looking forward to seeing them. Hope that Jim or Rene can help you out!

Looks like a terrific Christmas, Shelby. I get decorations in my tail sometimes too. Usually stems from arctic roses…ouch.

Maybe if you just explain to her that the wagon is good in the long run…
You will have to put one of those car harnesses on her and strap her to her wagon-
Mag says to try the pug tail curl- keeps it out of harms way and it never gets decorated!!

I’m totally telling the park authorities! Actually, the ones I met have been very nice and dog friendly. They probably would have thought it quite beautiful that Shelby wear some of nature as her jewelry.
Gotta love Armstrong woods. I can almost smell the trees while looking at your pix. However, the one of Cindi is quite small and I’m wondering if that’s Ralph’s mighty squirt bottle in her hands? 🙂 I can’t imagine Shelby needing any of THAT!
